Rajnis Parsippany: South Indian Seafood Thali - LOVE!

The best ten bucks you'll spend. Thali's come with several little dishes of delight surrounding a mound of rice and delicious breads. Yum! Madras coffee - basically dark coffee with condensed milk. yum.

Oh! Calamares: Peruvian Cheese Whiz Potatoes

The gurls took me to OH! Calamares, a Peruvian restaurant in Kearny. The Pisco based cocktails were potent and delicious. We started with papas a la huacaina. I was all excited for these two to taste the creamy delicious potatoy goodness. Instead it was like spicey cheese whiz poured over some boiled potatos. Not horrible tasting, I just question the authenticity.

Thankfully, this microwaved wonder was not the mood setter. The other three dishes were delicious. Brit brit got Tallarin Mixta - Asian inspired noodles. Rhi Rhi got a garlicy chicken stew served with rice. I got the stir fry over beef dish - which I can not remember the name of right now. ugh. Delicious. Tasted like the stuff I ate when I was in Peru in 2007.

Tops Diner: Amazing Desserts New Jersey Style

The gurls insisted on bringing me to Top's Diner.

I have not been impressed with the diner fair in Jersey. This place proved me wrong. In addition to huge portions, there's great people watching.  Brit Brit ordered bananas foster, Rhi Rhi had the bread pudding, and I had pinneapple upside down cheesecake. YUM. Added bonus: full bar

The Grilled Cheese Factory: Melted, American Goodness

Took the Gurls here on their mini tour of Morristown. I ordered the grilled mac & cheese with pulled pork sandwich. It was good. I think next time, I would go with a basic grilled cheese or have what Britt had - the grilled bacon and cheese.

Thai Nam Phet: Delicious Shrimp Claypot in Rockaway

Absolutely delicious shrimp claypot. Yum Moo Kra Paw tsap tsap (ground pork basil stir fry). Mango with sticky rice for dessert. My man. Wonderful dinner.
